ReThink Engineering, Inc. was created  in 1999 as BA Solutions – a value-added reseller of engineering software.

Early on, we recognized the importance of machine simulation: Pixels are cheaper to crash than parts.

This need has continued to increase as machines grow in complexity, tolerances become tighter and tooling becomes more expensive and productive.

While CAM vendors offer tools that simulate the toolpath on the machine to look for crashes and other potential problems, most vendors do not have the CAD capabilities to develop accurate and inexpensive machine models.

This led us to begin designing machine tool models in 2003. Today, we are the exclusive provider of models for UK-based developer MachineWorks, which distributes software that drives machine simulation for more than 80 CAM vendors. We also supply models to GibbsCAM resellers, Unigraphics NX resellers and CG Tech, the developer of Vericut, as well as models to NCSimul
