TopSolid 7 Design

TopSolid 7 is a newly designed product that takes advantage of today’s newest technologies like Windows 7.

The key features of TopSolid 7 Design include:

• Technology

TopSolid 7 is a .NET application, written in C#. It is a native 64-bit application that automatically takes advantage of multi-core processors (Intel Core Duo, Core Quad and I-series).

The entire suite of applications, beginning with TopSolid 7 CAD, has been developed on a PDM base.

• Performance

Just watch the video below to see the speed of TopSolid 7 firsthand. This video demonstrates two CAD applications opening an 800-part parasolid assembly model. TopSolid finishes in less than 5 seconds, while Solidworks takes almost 20 seconds.

• Product Data Management

A built-in PDM means you can perform all data management functions within TopSolid, easily securing data or sharing it through  PDM Messenger.

And the intuitive user interface makes it fast and easy to rename, move, copy or paste.

• Free Shape

This new method of editing solids doesn’t require a history or need to redraw: Just edit the imported solid.

TopSolid 7 CAM

TopSolid 7 CAM has been released for 2½- and 3-axis milling with 4th and 5th axis positioning.  4 and 5 axis simultaneous and 2-axis turning, is expected in the first quarter of 2012.
